Hi everyone!
I currently have capacity for new participants through Empower Ability Support Services.
My name is Olivia, and I provide support services across the Newcastle & Hunter Region.
I'd describe myself as caring, bubbly and easy going. I genuinely love building strong, positive connections with the people I support and creating a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
I'm passionate about helping participants build their confidence and independence through everyday living skills and getting out into the community.
Supports can include community access, personal care, daily living, cooking, cleaning, shopping, appointments, social activities and more, tailored to each participant and their individual goals.
I hold all relevant checks and qualifications, including First Aid, WWCC, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening, and I'm fully insured.

Empower Ability Support Services is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to join our growing team.

We are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support that empowers individuals to live with greater independence, confidence, and dignity within their everyday lives.

📍 Location: Hunter region area

About the Role

This position involves supporting participants with daily living activities and providing meaningful, respectful care tailored to individual needs.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with personal care
• Confident using manual handling equipment including lifters/hoists
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate nature
• Genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals
• Availability for weekend shifts when required

Mandatory Checks & Qualifications

• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Comprehensive car insurance
