306 metres. First visit. One unforgettable sail-out. 🚢✨

Last night, Celebrity Edge — the longest cruise ship to visit Newcastle this season — glided out of Newcastle Harbour, bound for Airlie Beach, Queensland.

Built in 2018 and stretching an incredible 306 metres, this stunning Celebrity Cruises vessel carries up to 3,521 passengers and marked its maiden visit to Newcastle — a milestone moment for the city, the port, and local tourism.

We were lucky enough to be there as the sun dropped and the city lights came on — a sail-out you don’t see every season 👀🌅

On the 15th of April 2025, Snap and Capture Media captured a range of “Around the Grounds” moments, showcasing the positive vibes created by the fun, interactive, and exciting celebrations at the 2025 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

This collection goes beyond the ring events — which will each have separate posts — and instead highlights the buzz and joy around the grounds through classic show games, barn life with a variety of animals, inside pavilions, and more.

The 2025 Hunter Valley Steamfest ARTC Great Train Race!

This morning, on the 13th of April 2025, Snap and Capture Media captured some exciting moments from the 2025 Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest ARTC Great Train Race — featuring heritage steam locomotives 3265 and 3526 running parallel as they raced a Tiger Moth aeroplane!

Newcastle Jets vs Western United – 2025 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Match at McDonald Jones Stadium

On the 16th of March 2025, Snap and Capture Media captured some images of the 2025 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Match between the Newcastle Jets and Western United, played at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Western United won the match, managing to score 6 goals against the Newcastle Jets, who only scored 2 goals, and the Newcastle Jets have had their 7-game unbeaten streak ended.

Camp Quality Inaugural Newcastle Convoy On The Road!

This morning, on the 9th of March 2025, Snap and Capture Media managed to capture the action of the Camp Quality inaugural Newcastle Convoy as it passed through the Metford/Ashtonfield area, filling the streets with honking chaos and creating a unique atmosphere. Taking part in the first Camp Quality Newcastle Convoy were around 180 trucks, embarking on a 38-kilometre journey through Maitland, Gillieston Heights, Heddon Greta, Beresfield, and East Maitland.

With an initial goal of raising $120,000 from today's Camp Quality Newcastle Convoy, they have successfully surpassed their target, with over $150,000 raised to bring joy to children living with cancer. Following the return of the convoy, a free family festival was held at Maitland Showground, featuring activities, entertainment for all ages, and fundraising awards ceremonies.

Sydney Roosters vs Newcastle Knights – 2025 NRL Witzer Pre-Season Challenge Match at Industree Group Stadium!

Yesterday, on the 24th of February 2025, Snap and Capture Media captured some shots of the 2025 NRL Witzer Pre-Season Challenge match between the Sydney Roosters and the Newcastle Knights at Industree Group Stadium (formerly known as Central Coast Stadium). The Newcastle Knights emerged victorious with a commanding scoreline of 48 - 10 against the Sydney Roosters.

The Hot Wheels Super Trucks Performance at the 2025 Maitland Show!

Snap and Capture Media managed to capture the Hot Wheels Super Trucks' first performance of their three shows across the weekend at the 2025 Maitland Show, where the father-and-son duo, Matt and Madzy Mingay, both apart of the Hot Wheels Stunt Team, went head-to-head in an action-packed showdown in the Maitland Show centre ring!

Madzy has cemented himself as a fan favourite, proving that the saying ‘Like Father, Like Son’ couldn’t be more true. With his natural talent, fearless attitude, and larger-than-life personality, he brings an extra level of excitement to their Super Trucks show, keeping the crowd on edge and delivering non-stop entertainment.
