Tim & Libby’s day was vibrant, magical and completely their own, their wedding, their love, their style.

A beautiful warm spring day at Woollahra Homestead, surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends, with colour woven through every little detail.

On Wednesday, I was so lucky to capture some of Arleia and Lachlan's wedding day.

You see they had a small ceremony at Tiffany's Maleny with a photographer included in their package.

However, they also wanted to capture some family and bridal portraits at the beach and a portion of their reception at Maroochydore Surf Club.

I headed to Maleny in the morning on personal errands and it was drizzly and poor, but by lunchtime the skies had cleared. Lachlan's beautiful grandmother assured me that was the doing of their loved ones that were watching from above, and I truly believe she was right.

We had such a stunning, light hearted, fun afternoon down by the water, watching the surf club members do their afternoon training session while we captured these beautiful moments.

Lachlan and Arleia exuded love, happiness and genuine connection. High school sweethearts, turned husband and wife, their families were already like family, and it was just the most comforting environment, everyone was just so happy for the beautiful young couple to become Mr and Mrs Spence.

Emily was meeting her sisters boyfriend for the first time, although, she was a little more interested in the cute friend her sister's boyfriend had brought to dinner with him. Jett was equally smitten by Emily and as time evolved, their love grew, not without obstacles to overcome, but nothing was going to stop this inevitable love story.

Eight years ago, I photographed Emily for her formal. A couple years later I photographed Anna, her little sister and Maid of Honour, for her formal too.
When I entered their family home, to capture Emily on the morning of her wedding day, there on the wall were my images, and it really hit me. How special it is that I get to do this. I get to follow families on their journeys, as they grow and reach new milestones.
