As we step into the Year of the Horse, we’re leaning into everything this powerful symbol represents — freedom, strength, momentum and heart.

The horse is known for its energy, determination and unwavering spirit. It moves forward with purpose, yet carries a deep sense of connection and loyalty to its herd. And honestly? That resonates deeply with us here at Bee Me Photography.

It's 2026 & our finger is back on the trigger 🙌📸

We kicked off the year with the most beautiful maternity session, and if this is how we’re starting… it’s going to be something special.

What an absolute pleasure it was to capture the connection, the individual personalities, the love and the laughter that flows so effortlessly within this incredible family.

The quiet moments, the belly cuddles, the cheeky grins, the in-between glances — this is why we do what we do.

Maternity sessions hold such a powerful kind of magic. There’s anticipation, softness, strength and a whole lot of heart wrapped into one season.

Being invited to document such a significant time in a family's life is never something we take lightly.

We already cannot wait to have this beautiful family back in front of our camera when bubs is Earth side.

Watching stories unfold from bump to baby is one of the greatest honours of our job.

It is official — all SANTA photos from the month of November have been edited and returned to clients!

There are so many incredible people to thank, but first and foremost — thank you to our amazing clients! Your support is beyond measurable. We photographed over 100 SANTA sessions, spent time with more than 500 children, and if we actually calculated the editing hours it would honestly make your eyes water like mine are currently 🤣. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world 🙌.

A huge thank you to our incredible SANTA — your enthusiasm for the role enhances the entire experience and inspires us to be bigger and better each year (if that’s even possible!).

A massive thank you, beyond words, goes to my family. Without your continued love and support, I wouldn’t be able to dedicate the countless hours this season requires. To my kids — thank you for being so patient while I juggle it all. Having a mum sitting at the computer when you go to bed and waking up to her in the same spot can’t be easy, but we did it and continue to do it for a little bit longer!

To my partner, who truly juggles it all — thank you for your patience, encouragement, and constant support. Even when you don’t always agree with what I do, you’re always behind me, pushing me to be better than I ever imagined I could be!

And lastly, a massive thank you to my mum — you’re the one who keeps the trains on the tracks. You help keep all my ducks in a row and are truly my calm in the storm.

Although the peak of the editing mountain hasn’t quite been reached yet… I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU.

It’s full steam ahead in the office as we work hard behind the scenes to bring all the Christmas magic to life in our editing program. 🎄💻

We’re excited to share that all photos captured on the 8th, 9th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd have been fully edited and preview galleries sent. Please be sure to check your inboxes and select your favourites as promptly as possible so you can enjoy your images throughout the Christmas season! 🌟

We’re currently powering through the last weekend of SANTA photo edits.
🎅 All images from the 29th will be in your inbox by Thursday afternoon at the latest (if they aren’t already!).
🎁 All images from the 30th will start to be delivered on Friday and will be in your inboxes by Saturday afternoon at the latest!

Holly reached out with a question so many parents can relate to: “How do we at Bee Me Photography photograph teenagers who are over the Santa photos and major shopping centers?”

She wanted something fun, something genuine—photos her teens would actually enjoy. And I reassured her right away… teenagers are my specialty! 🙌
(Not many photographers can say that, right? 🤣)

Working with teenagers is always a blast, and helping families create memories they actually love is why I do what I do. 💛

✨ To the Heart of Our Business: Joyce ✨

Our photography business simply wouldn’t be what it is today without one extraordinary human—Joyce. She is the backbone of everything we do, the steady force pushing us further than we ever dreamed we could go.

Even while fighting her own health battles, she shows up every single day with a smile that warms the room and an enthusiasm that lifts everyone around her. She brings joy, magic, and a little sparkle into every corner of our studio.

Every year, when we pack up at the end of the season, she takes a quiet moment to reflect and wonder if she’ll be here to do it all again with us next year. And every year, despite what the doctors have said, she is here—showing up, giving her all, and proving that her strength is something extraordinary. We know how incredibly blessed we are that she continues to walk this journey with us, and we believe with all our hearts that she’ll be with us for many, many more years to come.

She’s the one doing the heavy lifting—literally and figuratively. The one beside me as we set up, pack up, and juggle a thousand moving pieces. And when she’s not by my side, she’s by my children’s side, supporting our family in ways words can hardly capture. She keeps our entire world balanced and moving.

The world is a more incredible place because she’s here in it.

There’s something indescribably emotional about that final mop of the studio floor—the quiet after weeks of magic, the moment we close the door and hand the keys back. 🎄✨ In that stillness, everything we’ve poured into this Christmas season and bringing the Christmas magic to life rushes in at once.

Because what you see—the lights, the sets, the sparkle—is only a small part of the story. Behind it stands an extraordinary team and a dream that has grown far bigger than I ever imagined it could. What started six years ago, with a tiny baby in hand, a simple vision has become a world of wonder… one built behind tired eyes, hopeful hearts, and a belief in the magic we could create together.

The investment—financially, emotionally, and in endless hours of planning, building, transporting, capturing, and editing—has been huge. But the truth is, we don’t do it for the financial numbers. We do it for the moments. The laughter. The gasps from the young and young at heart. The tears. The eye rolls from the teenagers. The memories that will live on long after the set comes down. ✨❤️
