bo***ir gets a bad rap as just sexy photos! I mean seriously, I get flagged on every other post! but honestly, that’s the least interesting part of the bo***ir experience with me.

because if that’s all it was, people wouldn’t be so nervous to book.

it wouldn’t feel like such a big step.
it wouldn’t play on the back of your mind for weeks, months, years even.

the reason it feels like a lot, is because it’s not just photos.

it’s being seen in a way you’re not used to being seen.
it’s letting your guard down a lot.
it’s being out of your comfort zone, on purpose.

it’s showing up as you are, just you - for you!

and yes, the photos end up being absolutely freaking amazing!

but what people actually walk away with is different.

it’s realising that you have been way harder on yourself than you needed to be.
it’s leaving feeling like you are unstoppable!

that is the part no one talks about.

so no, it’s not just sexy photos.

It’s an experience that shifts how you see yourself.

I have had the honour, the privilege, the client for life type of client, to photograph this amazing woman (and her family) through many many seasons... this session was, well it was about re-connecting, it was about reflection, forgiveness, honouring... it was deep;

I will share the shoes serious in another post, mostly because they are fun! and deserve their own post - this series is about all of the above. they are deep.

and yeah, we can switch things up pretty quickly in the studio - I am very intuitive to whom I have in the room, kind of like a super power - I got you!

it's been a hot minute since I had a bike in the studio!

somewhere along the way, someone told you there's a limited time window for this.

that the confidence you're looking for belonged to a younger you.
that you waited too long, or that you need to get a few things sorted first.

but let me reassure you, this could not be any further from the truth.

the women I get to photograph at this stage in their lives…
they're not trying to prove a single thing.
they're not chasing some perfect version of themselves.
they're just finally ready to see themselves - really see themselves.
and that kind of confidence? it's different. it runs deeper.

it's the kind that only comes with time and everything you've lived through.

so if a little voice has been whispering that maybe you should have done this sooner…

you didn't miss anything.
you showed up exactly when you were meant to.
