Lately I’ve gone quiet on here — and it’s been intentional.
The more I photograph families, the more I notice a shift. Parents are becoming more protective of their children’s images online. They don’t want their baby’s face on a stranger’s Instagram feed, even a photographer’s. And honestly? As a mother of three, I completely understand.
I’ve been doing some of my favourite work recently — newborns, families, moments I’m genuinely proud of — and posting almost none of it. Because the families trusted me with something precious and private, and that matters more than my grid.
It’s got me thinking differently about what it means to be a photographer in 2026. The images I create belong to the families I photograph. Full stop.
If you’ve been hesitant to book a session because you don’t want your children’s faces online — I hear you. That’s a conversation I’m very happy to have.
