I've been a bit quiet lately organising my Victoria tour which starts tomorrow. But I did manage to process a few nightscape images from a shoot on a property near Colbinabbin about 3 months ago.

The first is a 21 image horizontal panorama and the 2nd is a 5 image vertical panorama. I also shot a few Time-lapse that night and then moved onto a local church for a few star trails, but they'll come later.

Bromo Star Trail

One of the many captures from my all night adventure at Mt Bromo, East Java. It turned into one of the coldest nights of my life. But I won't complain too much because it was also absolutely perfect conditions for Nightscape photography.

Today was the 5 hour drive from Tumpak Sewu to Mt Bromo. I then swapped into a very old Jeep for the 1 hour bumpy drive to Pananjakan Hill. Little did I know what my night ahead would be 😯

An early morning to chase the lava eruptions of Mt Semeru but the big mountain was quiet that day, much to the relief of the local farmers.

Today I visited the stunning Waterfalls of Tumpak Sewu. While amazing and beautiful, it was also one of the scariest things I've done in my life. The descent and climb are difficult and outright dangerous but the reward at the bottom is pretty good. The video shows it all!
