Flowering Red Gums are a stunning native Australian plant, and this Summer Red surprised me with a cluster of flowers in winter. Seems this hybrid Australian eucalypt can sometimes go rogue and spread some gorgeous colour outside of its growing season. Both me and some local native birds were very happy to enjoy that little cluster of flowering.
