A top of the table VPLW clash last night at Eltham North Reserve between the Eltham Redbacks and Clifton Hill saw the match end in a 2-2 Draw. A fitting result between two exceptionally talented teams. Both teams now look ahead to try maintain their season dominance over the rest of the table.

New rivalry ignited

Eltham Redbacks hosted Northcote City at the web for what was a fight to the last kick of the game. All square at the death with Northcote scoring the first early on and Eltham leaving it to the last minute of extra time to equalise. These two proud clubs have created a new rivalry in VPL 1 which may stand for a long time to come..
