📹 A story about "ice" and the buzz it created
Walk into Dan Murphy's that day, and the first thing that hits the frame is a massive ice sculpture — glowing under the lights, somehow making the whole store feel a few degrees colder.
A queue formed fast at the tasting table. The clink of plastic cups, laughter, the odd "this one's actually really good" drifting through — that was the real soundtrack of the day. Every time we panned the camera, someone was leaning in for a photo with the ice sculpture.
But the moment that stuck with us most was three girls. They'd just bought their bottles and were holding up their brand new red beanies, grinning ear to ear — that "I can't believe I just got this for free" kind of joy. You can't script that. You can only wait for it, camera ready, and catch it when it happens.
That's what this piece is — not a polished, staged shoot, but the actual warmth an event like this is supposed to have.
