Big sister energy.

New babies get a lot of the attention (fair enough), but I always love watching the older siblings during these sessions, the curiosity, the wonder, and the way they stay close.

It’s the beginning of a whole new little friendship.

Some weddings stay with you.

I photographed this gorgeous little wedding just before Christmas
and somehow never shared it

Out of the 300+ weddings I’ve photographed
this one is a standout
and the quickest booking I’ve ever had

I met the bride’s mum on a Monday
while working at the florist one morning a week
we started chatting
and by that afternoon
she had booked me
for a Tuesday wedding

It was local
quietly beautiful
and deeply intimate

Just the bride and groom
their parents
and the celebrant

I felt incredibly honoured to be there
to witness it
and to freeze those moments in time
for their special day

These days my work looks a little different
more families
more everyday love
as my own family has grown

But I will always love capturing love
especially small weddings and elopements
they truly have my heart
