🦊❤️ Did you know there are two types of Red Pandas?

The Himalayan Red Panda is found mainly in Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Tibet, while the Chinese Red Panda lives mostly in southwestern China. The Chinese Red Panda is generally larger and has more prominent facial markings than its Himalayan cousin.

🏔️ Himalayan Peak of the Day: Mt. Pumori ✨

Standing proudly at 7,161 meters in the Everest region, Mt. Pumori is one of the most iconic and photogenic peaks in the Himalayas. Its name comes from the Sherpa language, where "Pu" means daughter and "Ri" means mountain, earning it the poetic nickname "The Unmarried Daughter Mountain." 💙

The name was reportedly given by legendary British mountaineer George Mallory, who was captivated by the mountain's graceful beauty. Today, Pumori continues to attract climbers, trekkers, and photographers from around the world with its elegant pyramid shape, dramatic ridgelines, and spectacular presence near Everest. ⛰️📸

Dear friends and supporters,

We’re excited to share an important new chapter in our journey — Tenzin & Li is now KhangRi Studio.

The name KhangRi comes from the Tibetan word meaning “snow mountain,” inspired by the majestic peaks and enduring spirit of the Himalayan region that continue to shape our vision and storytelling.

This rebrand reflects not only who we are and what inspires us, but also the natural growth and evolution of our studio. As our creative direction and international collaborations have expanded, we felt it was the right moment to embrace a name and identity that more closely represent our work and future aspirations.

As part of this transition, we are also moving our studio to become Hong Kong–based. This move brings us geographically closer to the Himalayan region we are passionate about documenting, while allowing us to better serve and connect with our global community.

While our name and location are evolving, the heart of our work remains unchanged. KhangRi Studio continues the same commitment to quality, authenticity, and meaningful visual storytelling — capturing the natural beauty, cultural richness, and spiritual heritage of the Himalayas through photography and videography.

We are deeply grateful for your support throughout our journey as Tenzin & Li, and we look forward to continuing this adventure together under our new name.

Looking out past its golden spire, you can see the formidable Gyantse Dzong fortress perched on the mountain—a site famously tied to the historic 1903-1904 Younghusband Expedition.
