EVERYONE, I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT.

We're moving house.
So if you are wondering where I've been, it's been renovating, painting, open homes, and getting ready to move in with my in-laws. *pause for effect*
But we are excited, scared and everything in between.
It's time for a new adventure, time for more family, time to grow and change a little and give my kids a fully happy mum & dad.

What won't be changing? ACP.
This lil baby is getting packed up and coming with me, cause if I have a camera and a willing participant, I will be there.

So enjoy the new background in my stories, renovation diaries (once we buy a new house fml), more cameos from my in-laws as they will be an even bigger part of our lives, and honestly? Wouldn't have it any other way.

Newborn photography at home should feel effortless. Gentle. Loving.
So would you believe me if I told you baby girl was NOT having a bar of me at all this day.

She wanted to be held and fed and loved, as all newborns should be. So we kept being alone to a minimum.
Focused on how this 3rd little human fitted into the fabric of this family.
And made sure that these new days were captured no matter what.
Because she is bigger now. Her milestones are flying past. Time is going on, but these moments?

They are with you forever now.

Doing things a little differently! I want to create some cool, different amazing family photos this year.

This is not a mini, it will be a full session and include 50 edited images but will be at the discounted $300 price point so we get to create something cool together and you get AMAZING photos of your family in these locations:
- Nan & Pas Backyard
- The Skate Park at Sunset
- The Museum and/or art gallery
- A city walk
- A rooftop garage at sunset
- A cafe date

Okay I'm s**t at post BUT I have been taking a Polaroid a day.
And here is the thing I've learnt so far.

"This is the life".
My mother in law said this sitting outside at dinner. To just go away on a whim. Enjoy the sunshine at dinner time. Watch the kids play and colour without a care.

Looking back, I'm just feeling gratitude.
Everyday having something to look forward to, to celebrate.
Enjoying the little moments.
Really appreciating my life. ❤️

7 days into the new year and the resolutions are strong.
But for those who are new parents, becoming parents or hoping to be parents in 2026, here is my top advice as a mother, Newborn photographer and friend.
- boundaries are okay (people who break them aren't)
- when you're a new parent you are learning things you've never known before. Give yourself grace and kindness.
- capture everything. They grow faster then you realise
- laugh, cry, laugh til you cry. Just feel all the feels.

Just sitting at my desk in the middle of a crazy day with my kids on these holidays, finding time to edit has been hard. But I sat down and went through 3 gorgeous galleries, reminding myself I get to do this.
I get to capture beauty. Life. Weirdos. Families. Screaming babies. Sunsets.
I get to work around my family's psycho schedule.
The weather.
My clients needs.
And that's a gift worth celebrating and commemorating, even in Polaroid.

Hours of driving, a newborn shoot, an appointment, dinner, washing, chores and breaking up fights.
And yet I'm still so blessed to have a life that means I can walk to get ice-cream and go to the park with these guys.
