A whole new little person to love, and suddenly it’s the three of them.

These first few weeks can feel like such a blur, which is exactly why I love capturing families in the middle of it all. The cuddles, the tiny details and the beginning of their new normal.

First birthdays are such a good excuse to get everyone in the photos.

A little bit of chaos, lots of laughs, all the siblings together, family photos… and eventually we let the birthday baby get into the cake :)

I love that these sessions end up capturing so much more than just the cake smash.
