Out of 450 entries, ‘See You Soon’ was officially selected for screening — and we were honoured to receive an award.

When I started this project, it was just an idea. A story I felt needed to be told. To see it recognised like this is something I’m incredibly proud of.

This film would not exist without the dedication and heart of everyone involved — especially our incredible lead, Charli Lines, who carried this story with such honesty and courage. Thank you to the supporters, friends, and family who believed in this from the beginning.

Independent filmmaking isn’t easy. It takes time, persistence, vulnerability, and a willingness to keep going even when you’re not sure where it will lead. Moments like this are a reminder to keep creating, keep learning, and keep telling stories that matter.

If you’re sitting on an idea — make it.
If you’re doubting yourself — push through.
You never know where it might take you.

We’re proud to share that our short film was selected from over 400 international entries to screen at the Smartphone Flick Fest, held last night at ACMI.

The audience response was truly overwhelming, and we were honoured to receive a Highly Commended award. This recognition is a testament to the creativity and dedication of everyone involved in the project.
