I had the honour of photographing an incredible evening with the a community built on something beautifully simple: good men showing up for each other. Founded by Shaun Wallis, Steve Heavey, and Robert DiPierdomenico, alongside the inspirational Leon Davies, what began as a group of mates has grown into a movement rooted in connection, purpose, and men’s wellbeing. Two extraordinary speakers took to the stage , the West Coast Eagles legend and Brownlow medallist, who spoke with rare honesty about his battle with addiction and the long road back to himself; and NRL Immortal and widely regarded as the greatest rugby league player of his generation who shared his own journey with equal rawness and the gift of making an entire room laugh through it all. Both men were a reminder that we all have a journey, and that resilience, humour, and the right people beside you can change everything. And for those asking how I became their First Lady kindness does not go unnoticed. The small things, the simple things, they matter more than you know. To have such warmth and recognition from a community of this calibre, and to somehow be named their First Lady I am truly and deeply grateful. 🖤
