A series of website Photography I did recently for a cool little hostel in Chiang Mai, Thailand. With a funky mixture of industrial, raw & repurposed stylings, it was the perfect place to stay for my 2 weeks there. Not to mention the free breakfast, rooftop, and friendly hostel cat. A very unique town in Southern Spain that's built between a prehistoric earthquake fault line with a large arched bridge. Very cool, and worth a visit.

In 2017, a small group of Catelonian politicians & activists created an illegal referendum to vote on the independence of Catelonia, and separate from Spanish rule.

The vote was an overwhelming yes, but as it was done without approval from the Spanish Government, the separatist leaders were arrested & jailed - some for up to 10 years each.

The Catelonian's naturally protested about the jailing of their leaders, marched into central Barcelona in the thousands, and held a 4 day protest that turned the streets into gridlock.

With every big protest though comes a violent minority and aftermath, and I was lucky enough to catch it on camera.

This was easily one of the most adrenaline-fuelled events I've shot in my life, and a definite bucket-list tick. Despite being hit by a rubber bullet, and taking half a lung full of tear gas, this will always be up there as one of my favourite Photographic experiences, EVER.
