Based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia, we are a husband and wife photography and artist duo, who have a shared passion for art creation and finding beauty in simplicity. Originally from Sri Lanka we were long distance lovers who now call Australia home. Our background stems from interior and graphic design, where we create work and spaces that make you feel something. This led us to apply the same

practice in photography and we love every minute of it. Your love story is unique, and we want to capture it, no matter who you love or what you believe in. Through photography, we hope to craft an honest representation of your story and strive to create timeless images that you will cherish for years to come. We are always curious to see couple’s choice of fragrance for the day. His was- Le Vestiaire Des Parfums Tuxedo.

Like the tuxedo itself, the fragrance is all contrast. soft and spicy, classic and modern. A final ritual before the day begins.

A little throwback to our very first styled shoot. Back when we decided to do absolutely everything ourselves, from the styling to sourcing every tiny detail and somehow also modelling in it too!

It was equal parts fun, chaotic and waaaay too much work.

Looking back now, we’re so grateful to know so many incredible vendors and creatives who help bring these ideas to life with us. But there’s still a certain something to these early images, maybe the slightly ambitious determination behind them.

Hello, we are so happy you found us. We’re Deshani & Stefan, a husband-and-wife wedding photography duo based in Melbourne (Naarm) Australia.

Our work lives between documentary and cinematic and we’re drawn to the feeling of a moment more than the perfection of it.

As first generation migrants, the small moments we left behind became the ones we held most dear and documenting them for others became our shared passion. Becoming parents also taught us to find beauty in the most littlest things and look for something real.

We take on a limited number of weddings each year and each one is captured and crafted with so much love.

It’s an honour to tell your love story and turn your wedding day into captures you can feel.

The rain can’t keep us away on wedding days! The photos always turn out so beautifully!
The light wraps around everything, people lean into each other a little more and the in-between moments are usually the best ones.

It stops feeling like a timeline and instead starts feeling like a film.
