We're Deshani and Stefan a husband and wife cinematic wedding photography duo based in Melbourne. For the lovers of art. It is an honour to have you here.

Based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia, we are a husband and wife photography and artist duo, who have a shared passion for art creation and finding beauty in simplicity. Originally from Sri Lanka we were long distance lovers who now call Australia home. Our background stems from interior and graphic design, where we create work and spaces that make you feel something. This led us to apply the same practice in photography and we love every minute of it. Your love story is unique, and we want to capture it, no matter who you love or what you believe in. Through photography, we hope to craft an honest representation of your story and strive to create timeless images that you will cherish for years to come. We want you to love this experience, feel warm and safe, being unapologetically yourselves and will be by your side from the day you decide to book. Odin, a creative soul with a scientist’s mind, handcrafted the rings they would exchange, small objects carrying something far greater than themselves.

His bride, Emma, an illustrator and tattoo artist, sees the world through the language of line, form and art.

So it felt only right to photograph their rings not simply as jewellery, but as a sculpture within a sculpture. More like objects of devotion, creation and meaning.

A little piece of art, made by the hands of the person who promised forever.

Sneaking away to the Montsalvat attic with Em & Odin. We love documenting there and are so drawn in by the soft light, the deep shadows and the stillness. It’s also really lovely for the couple to have a moment, to take a breath and to be fully present with each other.

Slides 1-3 are when Em just sat down to pick up her dress and veil. We live for in between moments, softness and motion.
