Keen to join? I’ve ONE SPOT ‼️ available in December on either my 4th-7th or 11-14th tours.
I’ve a lady Jenny (she’s awesome and done a few of my tours), who’d love to book in and happy to book in on either date. Message me for details.

Come birding with me…. Small Tour group of 2-3 participants or One on One.

* Generally tours are run with two people, but I can accommodate three people, if it is a group of friends.

We will be on the lookout to photograph Rainbow Bee Eaters, Sacred & Azure Kingfishers, Whistling Kites, Black Kite, Kookaburras and more!

From land and water we will look for amazing moments in nature.

Tour location: Torrumbarry (1/2hr from Echuca) & surrounds (Approx. 3hr drive plus a stop from Melbourne CBD)

Tour includes:
- 2 and a bit days in the field with hands on help from Ben
- Once you arrive, I’ll do the driving to our locations during tour.
- Boat trip on the Murray River to capture wildlife from the water.
- 3 nights accommodation in a Jayco cabin (your own room, shared bathroom)
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks organized by Ben (if you’ve been on or ask someone who’s been on one of my Birding/Astro or Whales tours… everyone has said my cooking is pretty good!)
- if we get a clear sky, we will pop out for an astro / moon session.

Feeding FRENZY off Wilson’s Promontory yesterday Sunday 30/8/26 while aboard

Have a scroll through these images from yesterday of these beautiful 🐋🐋

I’ve seen plenty of feeding whales, but never big lunges out of the water like these Humpback whales were doing.
Big bait balls in the water, a feeding frenzy with lots of other wildlife.
This was the best feeding session, I’ve experienced and it was awesome.
Whales 🐋 ✅
Dolphins 🐬 ✅
Seals 🦭 ✅
Sea Birds 🦅 ✅

Yesterday we had 5 whales for the day. Two pods of two and a single whale. Another few whales off in the distance.

Fun day full of great memories, grateful to be part of the Wildlife Coastal Cruises Citizen Science Team.

Seeing a Southern Right Whale is special, seeing a calf with its mother is even more so.

A Humpback Whale Calf breaches with thousands of Short-tailed Shearwaters in the back ground migrating from the Arctic back down to South East Australia and Tasmania.

When born a Humpback weights between 1-2 ton and is around 2-3 meters long.
