🌊 Seascape Photography Return 🌊

The last time I did seascape photography was way back on 21/09/2022 at in Phillip Island. Fast forward almost 3 years, and I had the chance to attend the Magiclands Seascape Photography Workshop on 23/08/2025 — and it was absolutely worth the wait!

A huge thank you to Dylan Giannakopoulos and Peter Fogarty from Melbourne Photography Excursions for organising and guiding us through the workshop. Your knowledge, patience, and support truly made all the difference. 🙌

✨ Back under the stars after a long break! ✨

My last astrophotography shoot was way back on 30/07/2022 at RJ Hamer Arboretum with Peter Fogarty from Melbourne Photography Excursions — before bubs was born (and now he’s already 2 years old!).

On 23/08/2025 I finally had the chance to get back into it at the Kilcunda Bridge Astrophotography Workshop, and it felt amazing to capture the night sky again. 🌌

A huge thank you to Dylan Giannakopoulos and Peter Fogarty for organising and guiding us through the workshop — your knowledge and support made all the difference.

• Lens: 16–35mm
• ISO: 3200

Today I finally carved out some “me” time and joined a Dolphin & Whale Cruise around Phillip Island—and what an experience! 🐬🐋

After weeks of juggling family commitments, it felt amazing to be out on the water again, surrounded by fellow wildlife lovers. We were lucky enough to see playful dolphins breaching alongside the boat and even caught a glimpse of a majestic whale spouting in the distance. The fresh sea breeze, the endless blue horizon, and the shared excitement of everyone on board reminded me why I love photography and nature so much.

If you ever need a break from the daily grind, I can’t recommend this cruise enough. Phillip Island’s marine life is truly spectacular, and there’s nothing like spending a morning reconnecting with nature and like-minded people. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge and find a little adventure! 🌊📷✨

🌊🐙 Epic Dive at Blairgowrie Pier! 🐙🌊

A massive shoutout to Scuba Culture and David Brent for organizing an incredible club dive yesterday! The visibility was absolutely breathtaking, making for an unforgettable underwater adventure.

We explored the famous Octopus Garden, but our eight-legged friend was feeling a little camera-shy. Still, the dive was nothing short of amazing!

As luck would have it, we wrapped up just in time—beating a surprise hailstorm by mere minutes! Safely back at the car, we watched the rain and hail come down, grateful for perfect timing.

Can’t wait for the next dive! Who’s joining? 🤿✨

Had a fantastic day at yesterday with the family! The weather was absolutely perfect for exploring and meeting the animals. Highlights of the day? Watching the graceful giraffes, playful seals, and adorable penguins. Such a great way to spend time together and connect with nature!

It’s been 125 days (approximately 4 months) since my last dive on September 14th, 2024, and I couldn’t be happier to finally get back underwater! A huge thank you to Scuba Culture for organizing the club dives yesterday at Rye Pier. Despite the choppy surface conditions, it was an incredible experience and a long-awaited return to the ocean.

A special thank you to Amy Worley for making the dive exceptional, smooth, and relaxing – it truly made the experience even better!

While family commitments mean I can’t dive every weekend like I used to, I’m determined to carve out time for at least 1–2 dives a month to maintain that all-important work-life balance. Here’s to more underwater adventures ahead! 🐠🌊
