Farewell summer holidays and thank you Rosedale for the well needed recharge. It's been almost 3 years since we last stayed. Pregnancy, the birth of our second child, the terrible 2019-20 bush fires, the burning down of the beach house we used to stay at and then of course, the last two years of the pandemic and border closures. It was sooo good to get back, to process and to discard some of the baggage from the past years. The landscape has changed since we were here last, but the horizon out to sea and the longs stretches of white sand are the same. Like the friends and family we caught up with, the landscape has been bruised but it is resilient and still wonderful. Thank you place of our pilgrimage we hope to see you again next year. xx

I’m generally a positive person but today, due to this long Lockdown, I’m a bit grumpy…I'm missing shooting, I’m missing getting in to the wonderful Australian bush and I’m missing working collaboratively with wonderful creators like the brilliant pair .jones_ and .steer over at . We portraited them on a chilly but sunny summer morning in Mount Dandenong. It sure was glorious!
