"Young Australian God"

Created for a Greece-inspired photography club project at .school, this series began with a simple question: how can the language of ancient Greek sculpture be translated into photography?

Studying classical poses and forms led to a collection of portraits inspired by that timeless aesthetic. At the centre of the series is Young Australian God.

The portrait borrows from the visual traditions of antiquity, but with a local twist: the laurel wreath is replaced by a crown of eucalyptus leaves, grounding the image in the Australian landscape.

The remaining photographs document the process of exploration, from sculptural references to variations in pose, expression, and character. Less a recreation of the past than a conversation with it.

Thank you to , who became the perfect muse for this project.

“Ego, My Love”

A triptych inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus.
Created as part of a photography club project dedicated to the theme of Greece.

In this work, the image of Narcissus becomes a reflection on the nature of the ego: a structure forever seeking admiration, devotion, and its own reflection staring back.

Special thanks to my beloved photography school .school for the inspiration,
and to Nikita for the creative collaboration ✨

«Эго, Моя любовь»

Триптих, вдохновлённый древнегреческим мифом о Нарциссе.
Работа была создана в рамках фотоклуба на тему «Греция».

В этом проекте образ Нарцисса становится размышлением о природе Эго — структуре личности, которая всегда жаждет восхищения, поклонения и собственного отражения напротив.

A little lemon invasion from the Impressionism-inspired creative workshop by my beloved .school 🍋✨

As you may have noticed from my stories… the lemons are multiplying. Rapidly. At this point, I’m basically one striped shirt away from becoming a slightly unhinged still life painter from 1892.

These images were created while exploring light, colour, texture, and that deliciously imperfect Impressionist mood I love so much. And apparently… lemons. Lots of lemons.
