Goddess awakened! Portrait session with the wonderful (Loz) ❤️ I’ve been lucky enough to have photographed Loz a number of times over a span of 15 years. Missing those balmy summer nights. The long days, the warm breeze.

I photographed Shona and her little family what seems like a lifetime ago, and now her lil bub is growing up so fast. It’s wild how time flies.

These fleeting moments are tangible only through capturing them on film. Otherwise, they live on only through a memory. A story. To fade away like the dust of time.

Take more photos. Not just on your phone camera.

More often than not, we take photos of the ones we love; a never ending gallery of them (if we are lucky), but more often than not, we are missing from the photo. We only grow with them in theory, somehow missing our own attendance in the moment.

You deserve to be in your photographic memories. Time to include yourself xx

Prism is a dancer 🎶 Sometimes you just need to hang with your gal friends, take photos of each other, dance on boulders and drink wine. Oh, and bring your prism.

This was the best few days away with & , I feel I really need to get away again. Or at the very least, take photos of friends more. Any takers?

Family photos and why everyone should get them…
Personally speaking, I believe family photos are some of the most precious things that we can give ourselves and our loved ones. I say this because, being a Canadian expat in Australia, and missing my family terribly, I wish I had more photos of us together as a unit. I see my family grow older (which is beautiful!), however, I wish I had all the moments and years shared on film so that I can treasure for a rainy day. It’s moments such as a birth or a celebration, or sadly even in tragedy, that these family photos become the most precious things we have. Moments captured in time. Memories to hold onto forever.

This gorgeous and vibrant soul reached out to get portraits after she found out about her cancer. She wanted time captured, frozen and remembered, so that her family could rememember her smile, her eyes, her life. She wanted something that could last forever, something for her family…and for those that she will never get to meet.

Sometimes all we have left is a memory and it’s an honour to be able to capture moments and people in this fleeting thing we call life.
