Yellow-eye combtooth blenny.
I think we have an affinity to animals who show humanesque mannerisms. These tiny fish have a goofy, inquisitive look about them. Identified using a cool Indonesian fish ID book given to me by the wonderful

Knobby seahorse, aka short-headed seahorse. I quite like the little spots on these tiny signathids.

Deep into winter- it's cold, windy and the ocean is displaying its power. There's something beautiful about it, even moreso than in summer in my opinion. Still, it was a fun afternoon exploring rock pools.

The picturesque dragonet. A close relative to mandarinfish, these fish are of similar size and display similar behaviours, however they have their own beautifully unique colourations.
Thank you .suarta.940 for finding these rare fish.

A giant Australian cuttlefish. The annual aggregation of these amazing cephalopods is one of the best underwater spectacles on Earth. Thousands of cuttlefish come together to mate along a small section of South Australian coastline. What ensues is weeks of constant battling, fighting to reproduce and keep possession of a mate. It's absolutely unrelenting for these sea creatures. When it's all said and done, their life cycle dictates that they all die. It's sad, but that's life. e
Eventually the eggs they lay hatch and the circle of life continues.
I was lucky enough to dive with some really great people and talented underwater photographers/videographers. Thanks .lobwein (and Lee) for the privelige. Hope you guys have an awesome time shark diving and I hope to dive with you all again.
