🏷️ HOW HEAVY ARE YOUR LABELS?
📷 A portrait project exploring how social labels shape identity, visibility and opportunity.
I’m inviting people of all backgrounds to take part in a photographic series reflecting on the labels placed on us — and how we carry them.
This is a community project centred on diversity, lived experience and representation.
The image used in this flyer is a self-portrait, created using my own labels as a starting point.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you and create a strong message together.
📸 Portrait sessions by arrangement in Brunswick, Melbourne.

Twice a year, Nelson artists get their best chance to show work in the Suter Gallery. One of those opportunities is in the Nelson Suter Art Society’s Spring Exhibition, which is now showing in the McKee and Potton Galleries.

✨ Every piece is unique — and yes, you can make me an offer.

Grateful to be part of this year, Australia’s leading photography festival with my series Biophilia: Human–Nature Bond, hosted at Neruda’s Brunswick. Many of these portraits were created right here in Whakatū, with people from diverse cultures: Afro-Colombian, Tahitian, Māori and European - each capturing a unique connection with nature and sending a message of unity and peace. 🌱
Being a photographer today is challenging - the market is competitive and photography isn’t always embraced in fine art spaces. But for me photography is a way to connect different universes, share a message and spark reflection. 🌿
So I’m really excited for this opportunity.
I’ll be sharing more about the series and the stories behind these portraits very soon — stay tuned! ✨
