One of the reasons I got into photography was because I wanted to capture people just the way they are at that EXACT moment in time. That especially goes for kids. Time is fleeting and kids grow up so fast. I can't believe mine are 1 and 4.5 years old already!

I love capturing kids at family sessions just as they are. Goofing around, playing with their toys, posing at the camera or making silly faces. Whatever they are comfortable with, I'll photograph. My hope is that you'll end up with photos that take you back to that exact moment; how it looked when your kids were that age. How it sounded. How it felt. That's my hope, anyway. I hope I succeed in doing this.

I absolutely loved photographing Tia doing a first look for her parents and her bride crew. What a special moment. It was hard for me to stay focused cos of the tears in my eyes. Hahah.

Why am I honestly the worst at making decisions like this?! Probably why you'll end up with a billion photos in your final gallery 😂 sorry not sorry. Just photographer things. But for real, they are so different. Right?!

I LOVED how Tia and Daniel didn't stick with the traditional 'Groom = only men and Bride = only women.' They chose the most important people to be by their side on their wedding day. I love a Best Woman and a Man of Honour. Here is Daniel's team getting ready the morning of his wedding. If traditions are important to you - keep them. If not - buck them! It's your wedding day. Do what you love and with the people you love.

Side note, I LOVED how the decor of the house matched the colours of the wedding. Intentional? I'll let you decide.
