Thank-you for recognition of my work. It’s been a long held dream to make some progress with documentary photography. For several years now I have been photographing a local Halloween street festival. There’s a darkness that hangs in our collective shadow since experiencing the longest lockdown in the world here in Melbourne. Halloween sees a resurgence of vintage style attire, a generation contemplating an existence on the other side. Inspired by Netflix series such as Stranger Things children are reimagining a shocking new reality. Pumped up by a world that has gone completely mad, no one will remember the 2020’s with fondness. #

Introducing Keith from Crowders Motors in Frankston Melbourne who began working with his father here in the 1970’s. Keith is still here and runs a spectacular business with his partner Linda . Surrounded in vintage artifacts they found my fascination with their time capsule somewhat bemusing. Crowders recently sold after being held by Keith’s family for more than half a century but he and Linda are still there - for now.
