What a treat to head out to Venus Bay for this shoot and explore somewhere new, especially when gifted with one of the prettiest sunsets I think we'll ever see.

Almost a year ago to the day, Tuey & Romain said "I do" on the picturesque shores of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.

What a dream it was to capture a day like this and I can't help but celebrate with a little happy anniversary post 🫶🌴

Most couples say the same thing before their wedding day… "We’re awkward in photos.” 
Which is fair! It’s not something you do every day and hopping in front of the camera can honestly feel a little intimidating. 
Which is where engagement sessions can be so important (and so much fun 💛). They give you a chance to get comfortable, see how we work together, and realise photos are actually way easier than you expected. 
There's no pressure, no timeline, no need to get anything “right” or nail the moment; just the two of you hanging out with a little guidance and photo knowledge shared along the way.

By the time the wedding day rolls around, the camera doesn’t feel so scary anymore. You’re not thinking about what to do next because you’ve done it before, and now it all feels so easy.

And that's when the best photos start to happen 😌

Sunsets in Phu Quoc, Vietnam 🌴

The evening before the big day with Tuey & Romain, we decided to make the most of the island scenery surrounding us and head down to the beach to capture some portraits.

From dancing beneath the palm trees and swinging on hammocks, to running into the waves to catch that last explosion of colour as the sun set behind us, this little shoot was the perfect moment before the real celebrations kicked off the next day.

The kind of photos you can only take on the other side of the world 😌✨
