Most people we meet during creative endeavours are not that hard to work with. However, the type of people who have the ability to navigate the creative process in absolute harmony is pretty hard to find.
Mena is definitely one of them. Lighting up and photographing Mena was such a pleasant experience.

Both faced my camera within the last two weeks.

One is from a faraway land, the other calls Australia home.
One has just left school and looking for work, the other has a family, a job and a career.
Both have dreams and are looking for new starts.

People and their stories are fascinating – isn’t that what portraiture is all about?

This is Moshe Topol: Artist, Writer & Musician

The title of one of his books reads ‘Forgiveness is a superpower.’
That is something I can relate to, looking inward and outward.
He talks about forgiving self, not just others, and healing.
The dude can sing, play, and even paint.
This morning, we spent a couple of hours exploring our interests from either side of the camera.
