The musk duck has to be one of Australia's strangest duck species. They sit very low in the water and the males have this large dewlap. They are also highly opportunistic predators and will take vertebrate prey including other birds and small mammals if they can get them. Males fan their tails while displaying and they make a pretty odd high pitch squeak.
