Commercially I provide a comprehensive photographic service covering all forms of portraiture and general Photography. I started my working life as a primary Arts Teacher and advisor with the Victorian Education Department in the early 1970's and also gained a commission as an officer in the Army Reserve at that time. I then attended night school to complete a Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts in pho
tography at RMIT in 1977. This was followed by post graduate degree in Education with a major in Media at Latrobe University. Subsequently I was a curriculum officer with the Education Department for six years as a film and Television producer. In 1987 I left the Department and for 8 years ran a successful photographic and video production business. A major feature of the business was wedding coverage and all forms of portraiture. I then returned to teaching in 1994 to coordinate the Media Studies department a local College, where I still teach photography and Film and Television at VCE level. I have also been involved in photojournalism and Television production across Australia and overseas. Throughout my professional life I have held a significant number of photographic exhibitions covering the genres of landscape and people in exotic land to studies of the human form. My most recent two shows have been a window into East Timor (Timor Leste) in 2012 and a n**e figure show titled 'Images of the sublime at local galleries. I have continued to run a wedding and portrait photography business to the present day.
