t was such a joy to photograph this beautiful family again—this time with their newest little addition! It was my first time meeting their gorgeous girl, and she definitely kept us on our toes. She wasn’t too keen on sitting still, so her mum worked some serious magic with lots of spinning, cuddles, and play to keep her smiling. I love capturing these real, love-filled moments.

A few of my fave photos from my session with the gorgeous Alicia and her beautiful family! Like all 2 year olds, Spencer wanted to run, play and explore so a session outdoors was perfect for him. If you are worried you will have to get your energetic two year old to sit still for photos - DON’T! I’ve never met a 2 year old who can outrun my camera shutter! Seriously guys, my camera can take a photo in 1/8000th of a second, so I’m confident I can catch even the fastest of 2 year olds!

Who will your kids see when they look through their family photo album? Proud grandparents? Dad giving baby their first bath? Maybe the odd selfie of with a filter on your face? Maybe they will see the cake you made for their birthday. The new presents you bought them for Christmas (while Santa gets the credit). The holiday you booked. Will they see you though? Will they see your smiling face when they open those presents? Eat that cake? Go on that holiday? Will they see the way you look at them? The way your face lights up when they are around? Probably not….
When they are all grown up and you are gone they will want to see you. Photos are all any of us have left when someone is gone. So be in the photo.

Hey guys!

I’m looking for a female entrepreneur for a branding photoshoot at my studio in Montrose.

The session will be fun and relaxed and the photos will be used to promote my work at the studio and you can use them to promote your biz too!

Enthusiastic participation is a must and as a thank you for your time, you will receive at least 10 high resolution digital images.

You must sign a model release and be comfortable with the photos being shared publicly.

The session will be held on Wednesday 22nd March at 1pm and will take approximately one hour.

You might be worried about how your kiddos are going to behave during a photo shoot. Maybe you’re imagining that they need to sit up straight and put on their best (fakest) smiles. Can I reassure you it’s not like that? My approach is to let the kids have fun, explore and be a bit cheeky. If they want to make a silly pose during the shoot, poke out their tongue or whisper rude words in their brother’s ear, that’s fine by me! So long as you are all laughing and having a good time I can reassure you we will create some beautiful images and hopefully some great memories too.
