You’ll see I had the great oleasure of sharing some of my adventure with friends and fellow open water swimmers, Maryse Meale and Deborah Williams.

After our glorious sunrise swim at Pt Leo beach, we enjoy breakfast at Merrick’s General store, and stroll through the shop, and then I head off to Dromana 3 Drive In for some evening entertainment … such fun!

Vale Fleur. ❤️🐾

Beloved pet and family member of Jo and Clive, Zoe and the girls, and a much-loved member of our Seaford Swimmers community.

For six years, Fleur was a larger-than-life presence on the beach — there most mornings, keeping watch over us all, nudging for food, swimming out to the pole, enjoying treats at the café and occasionally leaving a little ‘gift’ on the sand for one of us to report back to Jo and Clive!

She knew everyone, and everyone knew Fleur. In many ways, she was the boss of the beach — full of personality, always part of the action and so very loved.

Our love and thoughts are with Jo and Clive, Zoe and the girls, and all who feel her loss deeply.

We’ll miss you, beautiful Fleur. Our mornings at Seaford just won’t be quite the same without you. ❤️🐾🫶
