Peter Kitchingman Photography Photos of SMX, JMX, RR, BMX, taken by Ex-Perth Optician/Photographer Peter Kitchingman c 1974-2014 I also for a number of years covered BMX racing.

During the above years I covered Motocross and two road racing meets in NSW before moving west in 1977-78. In West Oz I covered Senior and Junior Motocross meets as well as Road racing (black track) at Wanneroo Raceway, plus those held in the street circuits in the many city/towns outside Perth. Generally I took photos with the view of selling prints back to the various contestants and there famil

y. Through these sports I managed to cover quite a few weddings of some of the contestants. This sport photography was always a weekend hobby and was separate from my Optical Dispensing Practise where I had a shop in East Victoria Park. Many of these photos have never seen the light of day...so all I can say is ENJOY. ROB ROY HILLCLIMB on Sunday 29th.

The organising club the MGCC must have been real pleased with the weather and crowd turnout on the day.

This was the first Hillclimb I have been to since 1963 when I used to attend the SILVERDALE HILLCLIMB back in NSW.

I have read and heard about this track but seeing I live nearby in YG it was good chance to see what the track was like.

Great day and many memories and that's what it is all about but alas couldn't take pics up near the finish as spectators are not allowed up there but it is what it is!

Enjoyed the day.

2025 Phillip Island MOTOGP race.

These are a few of the MotoGP race which are mainly sequence shots of the bikes exiting Siberia.

The winner was #25 Raul FERNANDEZ (Spain) followed by #49 Fabio Di GIANNANTONIO (Spain) and then #72 Marco BEZZECCHI (Italy).

Photograph taken back 1984 at SOUTHERN CROSS West Australia during the KING of the CROSS meeting.
Sort of shows what 41years can do to a photo but if yours is in this condition then it is still possible to order a new photo which will last another 41years long after I have fallen off the perch.
So email me but DO NOT message as I rarely look at that part of FB.
In fact Glen messaged me a year ago and I just saw it about three weeks ago.
ANYWAY new photo is on its way which is pictured below.
New photo below is a thumbnail and has a low DPI but anything ordered will be scanned at the ordered size.

Just sorting through some pics from the 1993 125cc MXGP held at the Cosy Creek MX track in Manjimup West OZ and came across the following photos.

If it wasn't for the digital era these photos and more to come would still be sitting in my negative folders unseen and unloved...maybe!

The first lot were taken when the International and Aussie representatives did a motorcade down the main street of Manjimup along with some local kids in floats.

On the day it was a real South West WA Mud Fest

Will caption each photo.
ENJOY
Peter
