Tahlia from came out to do some content for me last week and I said to her, "you know I was stressed i would HATE myself in these" and she said something that really stuck with me. She said, "maybe it's because you enjoy your work, so it's your natural smile." And I just 🥹 it's so true. I really love spending time with your family and capturing them. I love meeting every new personality, noticing all their quirks, knowing I'm going to give you some artwork that feels exactly like them.

When you're booking me, you're not just booking someone coming to their job. My face in these clips show it 🫶🏻

I figured I should probably post some photos again 😆 I have some exciting projects coming up, and this time of the year is SO busy! This session was such a perfect winter session, the sun is unbeatable this time of the year. Yes, it really was that orange 🥺

Look, I don't hate photographing in the rain, but preferably not in paddocks with toddlers next time 😂 I unwillingly created brand new stretches my legs will never forgive me for thanks to the sludge, but it was still fun.

Huge thank you to Mini Munchers Petting Zoo for accommodating me at such short notice! They have the friendliest donkeys I've ever met 😍

Top tips for a smooth session with me:

• Relinquish control of your children, let them be themselves.. Even if you think they're being naughty (chances are, they're going to be my favourite to photograph)
• Stay close to each other and interact
• Pretend you're not at a photoshoot until I guide you to look here, put a hand there (gently guiding you)
• Keep your chin up - I'm anti double chins don't worry, I'll remind you!
• Touch your kids and your partner as much as you can. (If you're comfortable! Holding hands, cuddles, fixing their hair, kisses etc
• Don't expect to be still and facing the camera. I have legs, I will move to you. If I need you to look, I'll tell you 😊

When Breidi stepped out of the car I was just in awe of her, the fresh red hair, her gorgeous pale skin, the red lips and velvet green dress. I think my jaw almost hit the floor 🥹

Scarlett and Killian had such big personalities, which I absolutely just froth for my sessions. It was a nice way to start back after so many breaks on and off.

Not photography related, but have you taken your kids anywhere these holidays that they've absolutely loved? It is our first proper winter holiday here and we are already running low on activities! Teach me the Victorian ways please 😂🖤
