Sebastião Salgado, the globally renowned Brazilian photographer and photojournalist, passed away on May 23, 2025, at 81. Salgado was celebrated for his powerful black-and-white images that captured humanity, nature, and the environment. His work was more than just art; it was a tool for social commentary and environmental advocacy, always aiming to spark discussion and inspire action for a more just, humane, and ecological world.

The Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado was known for documenting the struggles of rural and migrant communities.

For over 50 years, Alan Adler's photobooths captured portraits of the people of Melbourne and visitors alike. A recent publication Auto-Photo: A Life in Portraits is the story of Alan Adler, possibly Australia's most photographed person and more than likely the world's longest-serving photobooth technician.

Paris Photo is on again and is making its return to the Grand Palais Grand Palais - RMN (Officiel) with 240 exhibitors selected for this 27th edition.

Paris Photo Fair is the first international fair dedicated to photography, and has been held every year in the heart of Paris since 1997. Its aim is to promote the development and support of photography by highlighting the work of gallery owners, publishers and artists. Paris Photo will be on from 7 to 10 November.

Join us for the launch, announcement of the winners and enjoy an array of live entertainment to accompany this prestigious exhibition.

Great to be able to be in Brisbane for the launch on 03 Feb. An amazing project to have worked on in collaboration with the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum capturing portraits of Veteran Artists. It will be nice to reconnect with those I met in 2022.
