PAX community came in strong for this one.

Bartronica was buzzing — packed with familiar faces, new ones, and everything in between.
I showed up with my camera (as always), because that’s how I like to do events. Shooting in the middle of it all is kinda my favourite part.

I had no plan B. So plan A got overcooked.

This shoot? Everything was kinda against me. The light was trash, location wasn’t working out, and I honestly thought it’d be a waste of time. So I said screw it and went hard on edits. No rules, just instincts.

And weirdly enough… now this set is one of my favourites.

That imposter voice? Still there.
That feeling of “this ain’t really me”? Still creeps in.
But if this project taught me anything, it’s that pushing through the crap often brings you to gold.

You’re not always gonna feel like you’re “the one.”
But if you keep showing up, you’ll become the one that delivers.

Every portrait is different because every person is different. Some shoots call for crisp, dramatic lighting—deep shadows carving out intensity, bold contrast making every detail pop. Other times, it’s about softness—letting the light wrap around, blending into something more intimate and raw. It’s never predictable, and that’s exactly why I love it.

Portraits aren’t about just looking good. They’re about feeling right. The way light shifts across your face, the way a moment of movement changes the entire energy of the shot—it’s all part of the process. I don’t over-direct. I let the shoot breathe, adapting to what feels natural, what fits you. Sometimes that means breaking the usual rules—shooting through glass, embracing motion blur, playing with unexpected angles. That’s where the magic happens.

You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job. You just show up, bring your energy, and we’ll create something completely yours.
