Ada tree, Yarra State Forest.

The Ada Tree is one of the biggest trees in Victoria, in terms of girth and volume. The Ada Tree is approximately 300-400 years old, 75 meters tall and has a girth base of around 15 meters with the root system sprawling across greater than half an acre. The Ada Tree walk takes you on a 3.5km loop through lush rainforests and ancient Myrtle Beech trees.

Set amongst the tranquil rainforests of the Dandenong Ranges, this outdoor art gallery features over 90 sculptures by artist William Ricketts. The sanctuary has only just reopened its doors a few weeks ago, after being closed for five years due to extensive storm damage.

**Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People should be aware that this artwork may contain depictions of deceased persons.
