South West Vic is a stunning backdrop for this project by .landscapes. It’s always inspiring to connect with someone who has a clear vision for their work, especially in creating serene and beautiful spaces. 🌱

The more time we spend practicing a craft, the deeper our attention to detail and focus lead us into meditation.

🔥

Enjoy this video of Tom forging a fireplace shovel from recycled scrap metal. Capturing this footage was meditative in itself. I'm loving making craft videos with small businesses.

Music written, recorded and gifted by Joe Buttler.

Just about to head out for a splash 🌊 and feeling grateful to live alongside this beautiful, clean ocean.

🙏

Fight For the Bight was a campaign that brought our coastal communities together. Meeting these SA local seagulls... uhh, ladies... was a highlight of capturing content for The Wilderness Society, Great Australian Bight Alliance and Fight For the Bight.

Meet Sophie, Arras and Urmila. They are volunteers with the Darebin Information, Volunteer and Resource Service (DIVRS).
🌱 🚗 🌽

Check out this little video snippet about what they get out of volunteering with DIVRS and how volunteering has enhanced their lives - and the lives of those around them.
🥰🥰🥰

This was one of the most meaningful and engaging video projects to be involved with. Thanks to all who participated!

Strength to Strength is on again for 2023! This video was created for the Strength to Strength series: an amazing program of workshops and mentoring held across six sessions at Free To Feed in Fitzroy.
🙌
The workshops are about creating opportunities for leaders from newly arrived communities who are building their social enterprises and Not For Profits.
🥰
Each session is hosted by a different industry expert who inspire the leaders with unique tips and ideas from their field.
💕
This project is sponsored by the Scanlon Foundation, who encourage and facilitate a welcoming, prosperous and cohesive community, particularly relating to the transition of migrants into Australian Society.

Loving working with the Wilderness Society on a mini-documentary to celebrate the Cobboboonee National Park. This was filmed on a beautiful, still evening in February. The Gunditjmara people are the Traditional Owners of this land. Also very excited to be working with talented animator and audio engineer to tell this story of community working together to protect our special places.

Two weeks ago, fifteen of us joined together at Port Fairy Library to explore videography and what makes an engaging image. Today we’ll be editing content we’ve collected over the past fortnight… and premiering our videos! Can’t wait to see what we pull together 💗

The events were held at Free To Feed, North Fitzroy, which is a social enterprise creating empowering opportunities for people seeking asylum and refugees through the creation of shared food experiences. These workshops were funded by the Scanlon Foundation who support a welcoming and prosperous transition for migrants into Australian Society.

Over the last few months I’ve been working with the not-for-profit Darebin Information Volunteer Resource Service (DIVRS). Filming here has reinforced my understanding of how important is to have a friendly face to talk with. We’re all balancing on the fine line of haves and have nots. It’s a roll of the dice the conditions we’re born into and we’re all wired differently. Strong community networks like DIVRS are invaluable to those who are working it out and finding their way.

Also not sure why Christina and I dressed the same but that was a cool thing.
