I watch this documentary over and over. Bill was such a simple and happy guy and his no frills, get it done attitude resonates with me. He kinda reminds me of my dad in his simplicity and he was a real ray of sunshine in a moody fashion world 🙌

INSPIRATIONS
London darling Mollie Keane - the delightful drama queen teaching French kids English through theatre in Paris. We met on the film set for Lokafy and ever since she's joined me for picnics, crafternoons, Japanese on Rue Sainte Anne and plenty of deep discussions about French boys. It is truly fabulous to see how she is dominating the French capital with Mumbo Jumbo's different approach to learning. I channel my inner Mollie often when I need a sweet, lovely diplomat with a slightly hidden cheeky side. I love your place in my life poulette!

Lest we forget.
Last year at the Healesville RSL's dawn service, a young lady played a haunting violin performance. This was no ordinary violin, but a violin taken to war to play to keep morale up amongst the troops, buried then returned to, dug up and brought home. As she played it, the violin spoke as if it told the stories of fallen men, women and animals and reminded us all to be kind to one another, love each other and to forgive our differences. Tears flowed like they may never stop, reminding us that war is never the answer and every day we continue to fight, we perpetuate the sadness and loss for so many years to come. Grief has never changed its face- a parent losing their child has always and will always hurt indescribably and to imagine this pain today helps us understand the incredible sacrifice made by so many Australians and New Zealanders. Today and always we remember and honour them, as though they are our own brothers and sisters.
