Gilgandra, based in the Orana region of New South Wales, serves the surrounding agricultural area where wheat is grown extensively and sheep and beef cattle are raised. The town is situated on the Castlereagh River and is positioned at the junction of the Newell, Oxley, and Castlereagh highways.

Cooper Films recently filmed in and around Walgett. Walgett is a historic agricultural town in northern New South Wales, located roughly 696 kilometres northwest of Sydney, where the Barwon and Namoi rivers meet.

While filming in the district, Cooper Films stopped at Wombat, NSW. The town is a historic rural village in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales, located on the Olympic Highway about 15 kilometres southwest of Young. The Wombat Hotel has held a continuous licence since 1877 and is known for its cold drinks and classic bistro meals. With a great camping area at the showground and a fantastic secondhand shop with great finds, Wombat is well worth seeing.

Filming in the South Western Slopes of New South Wales, Cooper Films took the opportunity to film the Historic main street of Young. Known as the cherry capital of Australia, the historic gold rush town of Young is famous for its fruit. The town of Young was gazetted in 1861.

While filming in the Wagga district recently, Cooper Films highlighted the Riverine city situated on the Murrumbidgee River. With a population of 57,000, Wagga is the largest inland city in New South Wales.
