I love the many moods of the ocean. On sunny days, it’s vibrant and full of life — all blues and sparkle, refreshing even just to look at.

But what I love even more is the ocean just before the rain.

The contrast of dark skies, the way the colours shift into something quieter, more mysterious — it reminds me of the mermaid tales I read as a child, where sea foam shaped the curls in a siren’s hair.
