Hi, my name is Storm Lahiff, I have been creating images since I was a teenager, but have been professionally trained since 2016 where I completed a Diploma in photo imaging through CATC Design School/Torrens University.

I am extremely passionate about portrait, small business/commercial photography and content creation.

I enjoy getting to know people and businesses through my lens, I love

being able to tell their stories, creating moments and capturing a slice of history.

When I am not photographing, you will find me hiking up a mountain (with my camera), in my garden, designing and sewing clothes, making pottery and sourdough or hanging out with my husband and dogs. SOCIAL MEDIA . EVENT

Hands can tell the story of who we are, the work we do. How we have left our mark on the world.

This is my very talented and very missed friend, Mr Ron Gooding.

I was very lucky to be able to photograph Mr Gooding working in his shed a few times.

Mr Gooding was an incredible timber artisan who made amongst other things, the most beautiful rocking horses. Here he carefully cuts out a rocking horse leg on the bandsaw.

This time of year Mr and Mrs Goodings home would be filled with his children and grandchildren, he loved his Family and would always proudly tell you all of the amazing things they were doing.

Mr Gooding was a wonderful man and will always have a special place in my heart, I miss him.

What an incredible experience, starting before the sun rose in the sky.

I arrived at the Southern Downs Steam Railway for the honour of capturing a steam train run from Warwick to Wallangarra.

The train driver and the whole team work to ensure the engine is ready, firing her belly, doing a pre-start by checking all the components, greasing and oiling the points.

I was very honoured to capture the incredible and now very missed Bob Keogh. Bob was one of the founders of the Southern Downs steam railway, hearing the incredible stories of their mammoth effort to get the railway off the ground was inspiring.

What a nostalgic experience, there is just something about an old steam train.

The team even let me swing my camera to the back and shovel some coal into the furnace, a trip I will never forget.

Thank you to the Keoghs for making it all happen, it was an honour to photograph your Dad and the team.
