Trying out some botanical prints ‘anthotype’ a historical printing technique using crushed up plant material.

With this gentle mountain sun I expect these will take a few weeks to develop. What a fun process, now to wait and see the results

Hands can tell the story of who we are, the work we do. How we have left our mark on the world.

This is my very talented and very missed friend, Mr Ron Gooding.

I was very lucky to be able to photograph Mr Gooding working in his shed a few times.

Mr Gooding was an incredible timber artisan who made amongst other things, the most beautiful rocking horses. Here he carefully cuts out a rocking horse leg on the bandsaw.

This time of year Mr and Mrs Goodings home would be filled with his children and grandchildren, he loved his Family and would always proudly tell you all of the amazing things they were doing.

Mr Gooding was a wonderful man and will always have a special place in my heart, I miss him.
