We talk so much about photographing children before they grow up that we forget that photography is for us too.

To remember when we were young. For the year of the short hair, or when we turned 30 or 40 or a birthday that felt like a turning point. For every version of ourselves, we'd love to visit again one day.

And here's what I've come to believe after years of this work: without photographs, we don't remember the same way. Moments we were sure we'd never forget lose all their little details over time.

Photographs are how we hold on to what would otherwise slip away. I love photographing women, so whether this is for you or your daughter who is transitioning into adulthood, I would love to create a visual memoir of your story that is worth remembering. Spring is when my favourite kind of nostalgia is made. Children among the flowers, families wrapped in beautiful, flattering light, everything vibrant and new and fleeting all at once.

This season only lasts a moment, and it's just a month away. If your heart has been leaning toward a family session, let it be this season.

Please keep in mind that my sessions are planned with care, which means last-minute bookings aren't something I can offer. I suggest booking at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Now is the best time to book your spring session.
