This striking stallion was photographed in the old stables at historic Entally Estate in Tasmania.

There are horses you photograph, and then there are horses you never forget.

𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐗𝐈𝐈 was one of those horses.

Photographed as part of my Senior Horse & Pet Project, from Manolo Mendez Stables, he was a stallion who carried himself with such presence, beauty and quiet power.

He has stayed with me long after that moment behind the camera.

If only we could have them with us for longer.

Now this beautiful boy lives on in the hearts of those who loved and cherished him, and through the photographs that will forever hold a piece of his story.

May his legend live on.

Others leave their beauty somewhere much deeper — in your heart.

Elzar was one of those horses.

Captured rearing among the rich autumn foliage, this photograph holds everything I loved about photographing him — strength, presence, movement, and that unforgettable spark that made him so completely Elz.

I am very proud to share that 𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄 will be opening next Tuesday at the 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙂𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚, as part of a special evening celebrating three exhibitions.

𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄 is my fine art equine photography exhibition, created to honour the beauty, presence, spirit and quiet power of the horse.

I am also honoured to be exhibiting alongside Gunai Kurnai Elder Aunty Elizabeth Dalton with My Heart, My Story and Kay Read with Off The Beaten Track.

We’re counting down the days!

Over the three days of the Farm World - Lardner Park Equestrian Expo, we’ll have a small pop-up gallery on display featuring some of the horses and dogs photographed both here in Australia and overseas.
