Nestled just about an hour east of the iconic Monument Valley, it’s a destination that truly merits a stay of a night or two. Our journey paused here, offering us a chance to soak in its charm before we ventured further down to the historic towns of Holbrook and Winslow on the famed Route 66. Our journey then carried us onward to Sedona, where we immersed ourselves in its beauty for four unforgettable days.

Bluff, Utah is an unexpectedly amazing place to stop over on the drive from Grand Junction to Sedona. Only an hour or so east of Monument Valley, it is well worth spending a night or two here. We stopped here before making our way down to Holbrook and Winslow on Route 66, before continuing to Sedona for four days.
