7 September 2026, at approximately 1145 Hours (11:45am), Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service Brigades were alerted to a House Fire on Stingaree Point Drive, Dora Creek. Upon arrival, crews confirmed the house was well alight, with the fire extending into the connecting neighbouring property. Fire and Rescue NSW called a 2nd Alarm, allowing more resources, including specialist appliances, to respond where necessary.
As of 1500 Hours (3:00pm), Police were treating the circumstances surrounding the fire as suspicious.

29 August 2026, at approximately 15:30 Hours (3:30pm) Fire and Rescue NSW Brigades were alerted to a fire on Kelton Street, Cardiff. Upon arrival, crews were able to confirm there was a fire, calling a 2nd Alarm Structure Fire. Thankfully, due to the fast actions of the Fire and Rescue Crews on scene, the 2nd Alarm activation was short-lived.
