Well the rain continued into the 1st Grade match for the Bradshaw Cup on Sunday.

Both side played well despite the rain but Mayfield came away with the victory.

Reserve Grade were the next on the park where they had a victory over Garden Suburb.

The score did not tell the story and Garden Suburb did not give up the fight until the final whistle.

One again the rain came down.

It was good to be back on the park, well sort of for a trial match between Mayfield Seniors and Garden Suburbs for the Bradshaw Cup.

While the weather was a bit ordinary at times the play was not.

THEY'VE DONE IT!

Reserve grade have won the grand final today against Newcastle Suns. Ending the season in 5th place, they've calmly taken on teams over the last few weeks knocking out teams to get to the last round today. Legendary effort by our guys, enjoy the celebrations!

The Mayfield Seniors AAW F Grade ladies faced a tough opponent on Sunday when they came up against the Dudley Redhead team in the Grand Final.

Both teams had plenty of opportunities to score throughout both halves, but the Dudley girls went one up mid way into the second Half.

The Mayfield girls didn't give up and were peppering their keeper right up until the final whistle.

Score 0-1, and with that they are onto next season.

And the last ones for the day, from yesterdays Grand Final Qualifier where The Zone League Reserve Grade team beat Kotara South 5-4 in a penalty shootout after they drew 1 all at full time.

It was off to the Grand Final for the Friday Night AA B Grade ladies team where they came up against Edgeworth for a winner take all match.

Unfortunately, the final result was a 3-1 loss.

The Zone League 1st Grade team went up against University at their home field on Sunday afternoon in a semi final.

The results didn't go Mayfields way with a 4-0 loss.
