“Ohhh you’re a copywriter 😬 That must be hard now that EVRYONE is using ai”

Actually,no!

Don’t be fooled, not EVERYONE is using ai to write their content.

Everyday I am bombarded with job notifications for copywriters, content producers, communications, marketing etc.

People still want people.

AI definitely has it’s place, but if you’re anything like me, ai written copy is as easy to pick as your nose! 👃🏼

And tbh, I feel as though more people are realising this and turning back to creatives to help them.

Don’t get left behind because your audience isn’t engaged with your generic, ‘adverby’, ‘em-dashy’, anaphoric (repetitive structured sentences) copy to promote your services or products.

Add copywriting and marketing services to your budget and stay in front of the right people.

Times are tough right now for many of us small business owners.
So, here's a challenge.

As AI, automation, and algorithms continue to take over our feeds, community matters more than ever.

Let's put people back at the centre of business and support the humans behind the brands.

If you've worked with someone who did a great job, take a moment to:

🟡 Leave them a LinkedIn recommendation
🟠 Write them a Google or Facebook review
🟢 Share their work with your network
🔵 Recommend them to someone looking for their services

It costs you nothing, and could make a huge difference to someone needing it.

There is enough work for all of us.

I challenge everyone reading this post to spend the next two minutes supporting another small business owner instead of scrolling.

A review, recommendation or share might be what helps them secure their next client, pay a bill, or feel seen and appreciated this week.

It's two minutes of your time.

Imagine you’re in marketing and your competitors are also your partners/suppliers AND you have to compete with another city with the same name on the other side of the world, that’s exponentially bigger and more well known!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤯🫩

Last night I had the pleasure of listening to Shaun Stoneman - Digital Marketing Manager at Newcastle Airport - discuss how he successfully overcomes these challenges via SEO and Location Marketing, amongst other excellent marketing tactics.

These tactics highlighted how important getting your location marketing right is and making sure you’re always optimising for the best results.

I specialise in helping businesses, especially start ups and soloprenuers, set up and optimise their Google Business Profiles and local pack marketing, so they get found in local search queries!

It’s a lot of work, but when it’s done well, as in the case of Newcastle Airport, the results are the proof!

Look out Newcastle UK, Newcastle NSW is taking over Google 😜
