Some of the most meaningful moments on a wedding day happen when everything pauses for a minute.

Stepping away together, taking a breath, and actually feeling what’s happening around you can turn a busy timeline into something unforgettable. It’s not about the schedule. It’s about the two of you being present in it.

It might be slipping out to watch the sunset together, walking through your reception space before guests arrive, or just finding a quiet corner for five minutes to soak it all in. ✨

These moments are just seen.. they’re felt.

Your wedding day lives in small glances, the nerves and the way two people look at each other when everything else fades away. That’s why I’m chasing behind the camera.

Years on it’s not just watching a film of how the day looked… it’s about remembering how it felt. Those moments stay with you.

Some of my favourite black & white moments with Liv & Shannon ✨

I walked away from this day with a new kind of appreciation for wedding photography.

After filming so many weddings over the years, my camera has mostly been pointed at video. I hadn’t had many chances to slow down and focus purely on still moments again.. but something about this day reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Those quiet glances, the small in-between moments and the feeling you get when everything around you pauses for a split second and you know you’ve captured something real.

By the end of the day I realised something pretty simple. The drive for it is still there and it’s stronger than it’s been in a long time.

I’m really excited to be picking the camera up for more photography gigs this year.
